Today, we started with Brahim in the middle, Rodrygo on the right, and Vini on the left, on the outside. Many times, Brahim moved to the right, Vinicius went inside, and Rodrygo shifted to the left. Mobility is very important; with the talent we have, they shouldn’t stay in one position the whole game. The key thing is that when we don’t have the ball, whoever is on the right must defend on the right. And whoever is in the middle must help the midfielders. With the ball, movement is crucial. If you stay in one spot with the ball, it’s much easier for the opponent.”

Ancelotti confirmed that the team is ready for the UEFA Super Cup match against Atlanta on August 7.

I’m not worried about the results at all. The good thing is that the players here have shown excellent physical condition and are ready to prepare well for the Super Cup. Let’s see how those who are absent come back. They’ve been working at home, and I hope they arrive in good condition. If not, everyone stays on the bench, no problem [laughs],” the Italian added.

The Whites are currently missing some key players — Fede Valverde, Dani Carvajal, Aurelien Tchouameni, Kylian Mbappe, Eduardo Camavinga, Ferland Mendy, and Jude Bellingham.Bellingham played in various positions last season, and Ancelotti confirms that this season, he will play closer to the goal.He will keep playing up front when we have the ball; when we don’t, he will need to defend, like everyone. I hope everyone does,” the Italian said.
